Freyvision was born out of a desire to directly engage with audiences as a part of the creative process. Its inspiration comes from the documentary film currently entitled, Into The Great Unknown.

The film follows the stories of Elizabeth and Lindsey, diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer in their early twenties, and relentlessly tenacious about pursuing their life goals through the new challenges they face. Among the eye-opening insights from this project was seeing how vital it was for them to be part of a connected community of peers and supporters they could engage with about any and all aspects of their experiences rebuilding their lives.

As I thought about the benefits of connection and engagement around every aspect of their lives, and how I would like to develop and share their stories in ways that were aligned, I became drawn to bringing together a community of the film’s peers, audiences, and supporters around every aspect of telling their stories: from development through distribution, and well-beyond, to building long-term creator-audience relationships.

This approach seemed appropriate for the project, drew upon the type of community-based projects I’ve consistently worked on, and presented an opportunity to realize ideas about creator-audience co-development of creative projects I’ve thought about for years.

The site you are on now is the beginning of realizing this vision. By virtue of the core intent of this undertaking, your input, reactions and involvement are essential to shaping what it will become.

I welcome you to be part of co-discovering creative projects that can take on meaningful and beneficial lives of their own.
